Southwest Animal Hospital, Parma Heights, OH, is pleased to announce the availability of CT scanning for pets. The CT Scanner is the first in northern Ohio dedicated to animals. CT Scanning provides detailed, computerized, cross-sectional images of internal organs and structures not readily seen with standard x-rays. Areas such as the brain, spinal cord and middle ear as well as the internal structure of organs can be viewed in greater detail. CT Scanning will complement radiology (x-rays), videofluorography (video x-rays) and ultrasonography (sonograms) currently available at Southwest Animal Hospital. We have always felt the best care is only possible in partnership with pet owners. Involvement in the diagnostic and treatment planning as well as copies of the medical records are essential for success. The addition of CT Scanning at Southwest Animal Hospital will enhance our partnership in pet care with pet owners, veterinarians and our best friends.
